OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Camp Leader to oversee and inspire a group of children during our holiday camp programme. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for working with children. This role requires effective communication and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for all campers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in management or leadership roles, particularly in childcare settings.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to drive is an advantage for transporting children or supplies as required.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development through engaging activities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively.

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate programmes that promote learning, creativity, and teamwork.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere by encouraging respect, cooperation, and inclusivity among campers.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate schedules, activities, and special events.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other relevant documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff or volunteers as needed.
