Responsibilities

COME AND BE A PART OF THE REGIONAL MAJOR CRIME DEPARTMENT IN A VITAL ROLE.

We are looking to recruit for a HOLMES Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a part time role (18.5hrs) based at Beaumont Leys Police Station.
EMSOU is one of the largest collaborative policing units in the country, delivering specialist capabilities on behalf of the five East Midlands police forces. At EMSOU, we aim to modernise the way we think about data and technology, improving both our service to the public and our ability to tackle serious and organised crime.
The role will involve providing a comprehensive administrative and word processing service to the Major Crime Team.
Due to the nature of the work this post involves, the successful candidate will need to be able to deal with material of a potentially upsetting nature.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be required to type onto HOLMES and other word processing packages, statements reports, tape recorded interviews, 999 calls, Body Worn Videos, Custody CCTV and any other material as necessary.
  • To deal with, and make calls, in relation to the administrative function of the role.
  • Be flexible in terms of working location and be prepared to work temporarily at other locations within the Force area, undertaking a similar role. The post holder may be asked to carry out work of a similar nature for other forces within the East Midlands Region. This work would be done at the usual workplace.
