Job description
We are looking for an organised and committed individual with a professional approach, to join us on a fixed term contract of up to 1 Year to cover maternity leave, as a Home Administrator at our specialist dementia residential home Blatchington Manor in Seaford.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am-4.30pm, although there can be some flexibility.

Responsibilities

You will be providing administrative support to the home so that our team can focus on providing high quality care to our residents and ensure the smooth running of all administrative functions within the home.
The administrators duties include email and postal correspondence, handling telephone enquiries, admission and occupancy records, monitoring of resident accounts, invoicing and financial management tasks.

You will also be responsible for administration of rotas for the home and monitoring of the time and attendance system and the accurate and timely processing of payroll and HR information (including new starters, changes, leavers, sickness and other absence) so that employees are paid correctly.

  • This role is varied and fast paced and the ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administration role in a busy environment and be used to multi-tasking and prioritisation.
  • Have strong communication skills both oral and written, along with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, visitors to the home and staff.
  • It would be beneficial to have experience of working in creating rota’s, accounts and payroll
  • Confident approach in using Microsoft Office and in house packages
