We are seeking a home care aide for a senior male living near McGill Street in East Vancouver, 5 days a week. Shifts are 3 hours in the late afternoon, Mondays through Fridays, but there is some flexibility. Duties include meal prep, companionship, incontinence care and help with ADLs.
There is a friendly dog in the house, so the ideal candidate should also like dogs.
This would be perfect for someone who works an early morning shift and gets off work mid afternoon and would like to tack on a few more hours.

myCareBase is an online platform that connects families who are caring for an aging loved one, with caregivers looking for work. We help families and paid caregivers facilitate the recruitment, vetting and placement process.
We want to help you find more clients! We are seeking people who are registered health care assistants, care aides, or those experienced in providing companionship and personal care services to seniors. You set your own hourly rates, and have control of when and where you want to work. There is no cost to be included on our platform.
Accepted candidates will go through an assessment and vetting process to ensure a consistent level of quality on our platform. This process will include a job reference check (so please be prepared to provide 2 job references) and a criminal background check.
