WE APPRECIATE YOUR INTEREST IN THE GREAT CARE CO-OP, HOWEVER, WE ONLY OPERATE INSIDE OF DUBLIN. WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF:

  1. You are a Driver and currently live in or near the areas of Bray, Shankill or Dun Laoghaire (we don’t want you travelling long distances to get to work, we believe in maximum client time and minimum travel time - it makes for happy carers and happy clients)
  2. We know you are more than just your qualifications and certificates but to work as a carer in our co-op you need paid experience as a care worker and your QQI Level 5 Qualifications in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
We are Ireland’s first workers cooperative in home care. We’re 100% owned by our employees, you the care worker. Why? Because Ownership Matters. Our mission is Great Care with Great Jobs.
‘I’ve never looked back since joining the Co-op, it’s the best thing I ever did. I now have a voice. We work with clients and their family to co create care plans. Nothing is hidden, we have a say in everything. We support, encourage and learn from each other. We are valued for what we do and treated with respect and dignity. None of this was possible with my previous employers.” Honora, Carer, Dalkey hub
Are you a kind, qualified and experienced care worker looking to join a team of like minded carers? Are you passionate about caring? Do you enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with others?
