Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with patient care activities such as grooming, feeding, and mobility support
- Implement behavior management techniques as required
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Support with daily living activities and household tasks in a home care setting
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks when necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as nurses to ensure holistic care for patients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made
- Provide first aid assistance when needed
- Demonstrate specialized skills in dementia care for patients requiring additional support
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care
-Provide personal care and household management as per the care plan.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as domiciliary care worker is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Understanding of home care principles and practices
- Certification in first aid is advantageous
- Experience or training in dementia care is a plus
