JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to communicate effectively and will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a proactive approach to care, including the ability to follow care plans and adapt to the individual needs of each client.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and their families.
  • Ability to understand and follow care plans meticulously.
  • A valid driving licence is essential to facilitate transportation of clients.
  • Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care plans.
  • Utilise IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
