Home Care Director — Chapel Hill / Durham Base + Bonus | $85,000–$100,000 OTE BlueDot Cares is launching in Chapel Hill and Durham, and we're hiring the operational leader of our home care business. The Home Care Director owns the caregiver lifecycle end-to-end — hiring, training, scheduling, quality, and family communication — and drives GUIDE Dementia Program growth by selling into memory care communities and neurology practices. The Role You run the home care operation in Chapel Hill / Durham. Lead local caregiver recruitment with the centralized team. Ensure every caregiver is Alzheimer's Association essentiALZ-certified before client care. Manage scheduling and coordinate with our overseas VA team. Be the primary voice for families on the phone — updates, concerns, care changes. Partner with the Senior Care Advisor and Senior Placement Advisor to grow the territory — shared scorecard, aligned weekly cadence. What You'll Do - Lead caregiver hiring in partnership with the centralized recruiting team. Screen, interview, onboard. - Drive retention — reduce 30/60/90-day attrition. Build a supportive, professional team culture. - Run training on dementia care standards, client safety, BlueDot protocols. Ensure essentiALZ certification. - Manage caregiver scheduling. Coordinate daily with centralized support and Philippines VA team. - Be the primary voice for families on the phone — updates, concerns, care changes. - Educate memory care communities, neurology offices, and clinical partners on the GUIDE Dementia Program. - Build referral relationships that drive GUIDE Program enrollment. - Own the operations side of the territory P&L — staffing cost, schedule utilization, retention. - Raise issues early, fix them fast. No surprises for leadership. What You Bring - Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related. - 2+ years in home care operations, healthcare management, or a related clinical / social services role. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills — able to run caregivers, schedules, and family relationships simultaneously. - Excellent communication with clinical professionals AND families. - Comfort with technology: scheduling software, WellSky (preferred), modern communication platforms. - Based in or willing to relocate to Chapel Hill / Durham, NC. Preferred - Licensed Social Worker (LSW / LCSW) or Registered Nurse (RN). - Dementia care or memory care experience. - Background in caregiver recruitment, training, or workforce management. - Familiarity with Medicare GUIDE or home care compliance. - Bilingual (English / Spanish). Compensation - Base salary: $55,000 - Total target comp: $85,000 – $100,000 (base + performance bonuses tied to caregiver retention, staffing targets, GUIDE enrollment, territory growth) - Car allowance, professional development support.
