We are looking for a Home Care Coordinator/Scheduler who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, supporting others, and keeping operations running smoothly. In this role, you will coordinate schedules for our caregiving team, respond to daily scheduling needs, and ensure our clients receive consistent, reliable care. You will also serve as a key point of communication among caregivers, clients, and the leadership team to help keep our operations aligned and running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and motivated by meaningful work. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining continuity of care and a positive experience for both our clients and our caregiving team. Requirements Care Scheduling & Coordination Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for caregivers to ensure client care needs are consistently supported Respond to schedule changes and same-day coverage needs to maintain uninterrupted care Utilize scheduling systems and office software to update schedules and communicate changes quickly and clearly Communication & Support Serve as a primary point of contact by responding to phone calls, emails, and messages with professionalism and empathy Collaborate with the Service Manager to understand client care plans and coordinate caregiver introductions and training. Provide coaching and support to caregivers to ensure clarity and accountability for assigned shifts Operations & Administration Maintain accurate client and employee records within internal systems Track and verify employee timekeeping records to support accurate payroll processing Generate and share weekly scheduling and operational reports with the leadership team Support smooth day-to-day office operations and contribute to a positive team culture Qualifications Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar) Ability to quickly learn internal systems, including scheduling software, CRM platforms, and project management tools Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment Passion for supporting seniors and helping caregivers succeed Additional Requirements Clean background check Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Education & Experience Associate’s degree or higher preferred Equivalent experience (2+ years in scheduling, office administration, healthcare coordination, or similar roles) may substitute for formal education Work Schedule & Environment Full-time position (40+ hours per week) Standard schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Participation in rotating evening and remote weekend on-call coverage Must be available for at least two weekends per month, one weekday evening per week, and rotating holiday on-call coverage Occasional schedule adjustments may be required to respond to client needs, emergencies, or operational priorities Position is based in our Lincoln office, with occasional visits to client homes as needed Home Care Partners is an equal-opportunity employer.
