DO YOU MEET THESE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS?

  • Live in or near Newcastle NSW including surrounding suburbs Bar Beach, Carrington, Cooks Hill, Hamilton, Islington, Maryville, Merewether, The Hill, The Junction, Mayfield, Lambton, Maryland, Fletcher, New Lambton, Adamstown or Kotara
  • Hold a current Australian Drivers’ Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International licences or shared/rental vehicles)
  • Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
  • Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.

Responsibilities

WHAT THIS ROLE OFFERS:

  • Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates
  • Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
  • Permanent Contract hours:


    • Entry Level - 20-30 hours per fortnight + flex up hours.

    • Experienced Carers - 20-30 hours per fortnight + flex up hours.
    • Hourly Rate: $30.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    • Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
    • Experienced Carers: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
    • Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone’s day!
      As a valued team member, you’ll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role – this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you’ll make a real difference in people’s lives every day.
