JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, with experience in various aspects of patient care, including assisted living, senior care, and specialised support for conditions such as Special needs for young adults and Alzheimer’s, dementia care for elderly. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients while promoting their independence.

SKILLS

  • Experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly desirable
  • Strong background in patient care, particularly with young adults/ seniors or individuals requiring specialised support
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, and other relevant areas of expertise
  • Proficient in first aid and emergency response techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties
