Your day may include:

• Supporting clients with personal care, including hygiene, dressing and grooming.
• Helping with shopping, transport, respite and other activities of daily living.
• Assisting clients with domestic tasks to keep their homes safe and comfortable.
• Supporting clients to stay socially connected and engaged with their community.
• Assisting with medication within the scope of your role and competency.
• Following individual care plans and daily schedules to ensure clients receive the right support.
• Building genuine, respectful relationships with clients and making a positive difference in their day.
• Completing accurate documentation and records as required.

Mandatory requirements:

• Current National Police Certificate OR NDIS Clearance
• Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Services or equivalent
  • Completion of Module HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain)
  • Completion of Module HLTAAP001 - Recognise healthy body systems
