It takes a special person to be a Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their independence and wellbeing. We are looking for a person with at least 3 months experience in a similar professional role, to join the Silverchain team in the Margate and surrounding areas.

• Can build positive relationships with clients and their families. 
• Don’t sweat the small stuff. Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client. 
• Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help. 

In addition, you will need: 

• A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle 
• Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in with personal care, manual handling, hoist trainin
