• About the roleOur Support at Home Program helps older people live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.Join our growing team with multiple opportunities across the Hume Support at Home program, now hiring in Yarrawonga and surrounding communities.As a Home Care Worker, you will travel between clients' homes providing personalised support that enables older people to maintain their independence, wellbeing and connection to their community.These are part-time positions with guaranteed contracted hours of 20 hours per fortnight. To meet client and rostering requirements, successful candidates will have daytime availability across at least three weekdays per week.Duties may include:Providing personal care support, where required
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry and household tidying
• Supporting clients to maintain their independence and quality of life
• Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting concerns appropriately
• Respecting and responding to each client's cultural, spiritual and individual needs
• Building positive relationships with clients and their families
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and the broader care team
