Home Instead - Hinckley, Burbage, Nuneaton and surrounding areas. 5 STAR EMPLOYEE WORK BUZZ AWARD - 7 years running ⭐️ We believe that it is essential that our care team feel like their work is not rushed which is why we have a minimum of 1 hour visits and also paid travel time as well as wait time between clients. ⭐️ Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Carer - Care Assistant to join our team for early morning visits in Hinckley, Burbage, and Nuneaton. As a vital member of our care team, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare nutritious meals when necessary Administer medication as per care plans and maintain accurate records Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to the care coordinator Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Respect clients' privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences at all times Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies Qualifications Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong time-keeping abilities and reliability, especially for early morning shifts Basic knowledge and understanding of common health conditions in elderly care Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in care work is preferred but not essential Understanding of safeguarding procedures and commitment to maintaining confidentiality Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle may be required due to the nature of the role (essential) Flexibility to work early morning shifts in Hinckley, Burbage, and Nuneaton areas Additional Information Be part of the Home Instead community and work with friendly like-minded people who share your values.
