As a valued member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in familiar surroundings. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare and serve nutritious meals, adhering to dietary requirements Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment Accompany clients to medical appointments or social activities when required Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations Qualifications Excellent personal care skills and basic medical knowledge Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills Empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence Ability to manage time effectively and work independently Previous experience in home care or similar healthcare roles (preferred) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred) Understanding of elderly care and knowledge of common health conditions Ability to travel between Hinckley and Nuneaton Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours Clean criminal record and the right to work in the UK A driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential) Additional Information Be part of the Home Instead community and work with friendly like-minded people who share your values.
