As a hands-on leader, the Home Centre Manager will work alongside team members to deliver exceptional service and value to our customers.  Additional responsibilities include:  * Achieve results by communicating job expectations via planning, monitoring, and appraising performance through talent management * Ensure all staff adhere to Co-op standards regarding merchandising, signage, staff appearance, housekeeping, Health & Safety and Loss prevention. * Lead marketing efforts adhering to advertising standards and create innovative marketing plans. * Prepare the annual budget and support leadership in establishing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; analyse variances and initiate corrective actions and sales strategies that support Prairie North Co-op’s vision. * Keep familiar and up to date with current and new products in the market. * Ensure all facilities and equipment meet the image checklist, management of assets and maintenance schedule. * Perform other duties as required and assigned.   Who you are:  You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and: * You have a Grade 12 Diploma * You have 3 – 5 years experience in a supervisory role and leading others, previous retail supervisory experience is considered an asset * You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do * You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives * Physically capable of performing dynamic and static movements, repetitive motions, and repeated lifting of up to 50 lbs unassisted   Apply to tyler.jones@prairienorth.crs,  or contact Tyler Jones, Human Resources Advisor at (306) 752-9381 for more information.
