Ion Solar is looking for a Drywall Technician who will be responsible for repair of drywall, properly sealing all roof penetrations, and installing all relative equipment. Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct assessments of any home damage that may occur during solar panel installation or maintenance Drywall repair Minor siding repair Minor fence/deck repair Properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment. Complete projects within established policies and procedures. Complete projects within time frames and budgets. Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety. Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work as part of a team Ability to follow instructions Excellent customer service Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to use hand and power tools Proficient math skills to calculate the amount of materials needed Ability to use ION technology, such as Paycom, FieldPro, Salesforce, and smartphones Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. More than 1 year of previous construction experience is required in electrical, roofing, or framing. OSHA compliance Physical Requirements: Must be able to work at heights. Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time Must use earplugs around loud equipment and wear gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
