Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary teams in community settings and support to training, joint visits etc. In addition, they will work with the Prescribing Support Dietitian to review appropriate provision of feeds and ancillaries. You should be enthusiastic, with great communication and time management skills and an ability to be flexible and have a strong commitment to teamwork. Clinical: To develop and maintain a high standard of knowledge and practical experience in general dietetics, and to provide specialist expertise in the areas of home enteral feeding (paediatrics and adults with learning disabilities) Professional: To identify problems where changes to practices and systems or additional resources are required to support caseload and to discuss these with line manager.
Educational: To be proactive in identifying and addressing the educational needs of patients and carers, including medical, nursing staff and other health care professionals. Organisational: To ensure that your own practice meet the required professional standards of dietetic practice. Please refer to the job description for further details.
