Description

We are based in Midlothian and cover mostly Edinburgh, the Central belt and Borders but often work further afield too.
Day to day we install WiFi/Networking systems, home security, TV & home entertainment. We also work on commercial projects too installing integrated reception systems.
As part of a close knit team, you will be working in commercial and domestic settings and will demonstrate various skills. You will have a knowledge of safety at work, be good with heights (we also install 4G/5G systems) and have experience of great customer service.

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND BE ABLE TO PROVE EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE:

  • Must be physically fit and have a strong grasp of H&S working at height.
  • Must hold a full & clean UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
  • Experience of IP Based CCTV systems
  • Installations Experience
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
  • Excellent communication & team working skills.
  • Great problem solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to find the best solution for the client and company.
  • Strong understanding of basic networking
  • Strong computer skills
  • Field technical experience: 2 years

    Pay: £25,206.00-£29,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Carry out site surveys to assess and plan requirements for safe installation. Liaise with clients to agree requirements
  • Installation, testing and configuration of all systems, including structured cabling, according to Company standards and procedures
  • Planned and regular maintenance of equipment
  • Provide site with any additional information or training. Advise users on basic operation of equipment
  • Daily liaison with the scheduler
  • Provide the office with regular updates on progress, details of any other relevant issues, or further action to be taken
  • Full and detailed completion of all appropriate paperwork
  • Present a positive Company image
  • Provide a timely, polite and efficient service
