Description POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for coordinating closings, preparing closing packages and funding Home Equity loans. Additional responsibilities include total support of the Home Equity team, including application setup, underwriting, and processing. QUALIFICATIONS This position requires an organized, self-motivated individual who works effectively under minimal supervision - both alone and within a team environment. Must be able to perform under pressure while meeting strict deadlines and representing the credit union in a professional manner. The ability to prepare detailed documentation with accuracy and perform mathematical computation is required. Requires strong computer skills and the initiative to learn new technology and software. Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task effectively. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to view a terminal screen and operate a computer keyboard is required. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others while providing efficient service to our members and teammates. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Order payoffs for Home Equity loans Secure adequate homeowner’s insurance documents with our lien position Prepare and review Home Equity closing packages and forward to lenders Conduct loan data entry to core system Fund home equity loans Perform post-closing duties as mortgage files are received from title companies Wrap and file completed loan packages Assist with new home equity application setup and underwriting Provide home equity processing assistance Coordinate and schedule member home equity closings Forward closing instructions and prepare closing documents for branch loan staff Additional duties as assigned ProFed is an EEO employer – M/F/Vets/Disabled
