Job Details Job Location: Augusta, ME 04332-5659 Position Type: Full Time Proactively solicits new and renewing residential home equity business and sells MSCU’s suite of residential home equity products to meet established team and organizational goals. Responsible for originating, processing, underwriting and approving loans within level of lending authority, with an emphasis on originating loans. This role will actively seek opportunities to strengthen and build relationships with Credit Union members and cross departmental collaboration. Supervisors will provide regular feedback and coaching to develop leadership skills with an emphasis on mastering lending acumen and underwriting complex applications. *PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN ON-SITE, IN-PERSON POSITION. CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN STATE OF MAINE, POSSIBLE HYBRID OPPORTUNITY ONCE FULLY TRAINED* Qualifications The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, team-oriented, positive thinker with a desire to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. You should have a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience. This role will be responsible for originating, underwriting, approving, and closing Home Equity loans and Lines of Credit. Additional requirements include: Strong problem-solving skills to help members choose the best loan solution for their needs. Familiarity with underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements. Ability to analyze credit reports, income documentation, and collateral information. High accuracy in documentation, data entry, and follow-through from application to closing.
