WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Altra Home Health is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA). As a CNA/HHA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Ensure patient safety.
  • Report significant changes in the patient’s condition directly to their supervisor.
  • Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required.
  • Monitor and record patient temperature.
  • Assist patients with ambulation.
  • Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
  • Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
  • Offer bathing assistance.
  • Perform light housekeeping.
  • Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
