Affinity Home Care is a boutique concierge agency providing in-home care services throughout New York City and Long Island!
We are hiring compassionate & dedicated HOME HEALTH AIDES (HHA’S) to provide medical support to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide mobility assistance, such as helping clients in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
  • Monitor and record vital signs like temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
  • Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean living environment.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting mental and emotional wellbeing.
  • Assist with basic exercises and physical therapy routines as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Transport clients to doctor appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.
  • Document care provided and report changes in clients’ conditions to nursing staff or family members.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect clients and self.
  • Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity in their own homes.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop and follow care plans.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, including administering basic first aid or calling for medical help.

Requirements:

  • Valid HHA Certification (REQUIRED)
  • Reliable Transportation
