OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. This position requires a caring attitude and the ability to work with individuals who may have various health challenges, including memory care and developmental disabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and basic medical procedures.
• Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to lift clients safely and assist them in mobility tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
• Basic understanding of medical records management systems is beneficial.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accordingly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report any changes in client conditions to healthcare professionals.
• Offer specialized care for clients requiring memory care or hospice care services.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
