As part of our ongoing service, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team in the role of Patient Transporter - Escort. As a Patient Transporter - Escort, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients within healthcare facilities, ensuring they are comfortable and supported during their journey. Your role is pivotal in facilitating smooth transitions and enhancing the overall patient experience. Hourly Rate: $18 to $21 Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Friday via Direct Deposit Shifts Available: Flexible scheduling options available Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from various departments within the facility, including those requiring specialized medical equipment. Assist patients in preparing for transport, including ensuring they are comfortable and securely positioned. Coordinate and communicate with nursing and medical staff to schedule and facilitate patient transportation needs. Provide support and assistance to patients during transport, addressing any concerns or needs they may have. Maintain accurate records of patient transport activities and report any issues or changes to the appropriate personnel. Ensure that the transport environment is safe, clean, and compliant with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge related to patient care. Previous experience in a healthcare or similar environment is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach. Current CPR certification is a plus.
