OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to our clients in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work independently while adhering to established care plans.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques, including medication administration and catheter care.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance is essential.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients safely while maintaining their dignity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need of support.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
  • Monitor and document patient health status, including vital signs and changes in condition.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
  • Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs as required.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support clients with mobility assistance, including lifting or transferring when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
