Home Health Aide's Needed in Pomeroy Ohio and surrounding areas outside of Scioto County. Are you searching for a Purpose? Purpose Care is looking for qualified, dependable, honest, reliable, Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs and CNA Caregivers to care for the needs of our clients. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Providing personal care to include: a. Baths, Showers, Bed Baths, Sponge Baths b. Oral hygiene c. Shampoos d. Changing bed linens e. Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming f. Assisting the patient with toileting activities g. Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly 1. Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations Qualifications and Requirements: * Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility in the past 2 years * Must be able to pass a criminal background check * Must be at least 18 years old * Candidates must complete and pass a written Competency evaluation. * Candidates must complete a skills assessment. * Able to independently lift 25lbs. * Ability to read and follow written instructions and documents care given. * Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired. * Demonstrate tact, patience, and good personal hygiene * A solid personal character with an empathetic personality * Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
