Duties * Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. * Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. * Medication reminders and documentation * Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed. * Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities. * Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments. * Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. * Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress. Requirements * 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant. * Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly * Ability to pass a background check * A heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care * Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. * Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable. * A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.
