Description The Home Health and Hospice State Sales Manager will oversee and drive marketing initiatives for our home health and hospice services, encompassing statewide agencies. In this position, you will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies that promote our company and services to key stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare providers, and referral sources. Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive state marketing strategies to drive growth and awareness of home health and hospice services. Work closely with the executive team to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and business objectives. Identify market trends and opportunities to expand service reach within the state, ensuring competitive positioning. Lead the creation and execution of targeted campaigns to increase referrals from physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. Community Outreach & Strong Partnerships: Collaborate closely with each Administrator, Patient Navigator, the Corporate Home Health and Hospice team, and the LHMSH Marketing Director to strengthen and expand the organization’s state brand presence. This includes leveraging various channels such as digital marketing, local advertising, community events, and strategic partnerships. Cultivate relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to strengthen the company’s position in the market. Assist agency marketing directors in coordinating participation in health fairs, community events and other local outreach efforts to promote services. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor individual patient navigators within each agency you support, providing guidance, training, and performance management. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, ensuring marketing efforts are aligned with both agency and corporate initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, clinical and operational staff, to ensure marketing strategies are effectively executed. Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Use analytics tools to assess market trends, patient demographics, referral patterns, and competitor activities. Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and ROI of marketing efforts. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare marketing, with a focus on home health or hospice services. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Professional and tactful demeanor that allows for effective and positive interactions with personnel, residents, patients, family members, visitors, physicians, government agencies, and the general public, even under stressful and emotional circumstances. Understanding of medical terminology. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Communication skills with a problem-solving attitude. Ability to maintain composure and manage stress in the workplace. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Work performed in an office setting or in patients' homes due to the need to work directly with the clinical staff and patients. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and twist. Required vision includes close vision, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to carefully consider all information and make impactful decisions on a regular basis. Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs. Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated. Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
