Our mission is to enhance the quality of care for our clients by ensuring that both clients and staff are matched perfectly in terms of needs, location, and scheduling.
We are currently looking for Health Care Aides (HCA), Personal Support Workers (PSW), and Companion Service Providers to join our team in Edmonton and surrounding areas, including Sherwood Park and St. Albert. At HomeFirst, we provide free ongoing training, 24/7 support, and flexible scheduling to ensure a positive work environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and health-related tasks based on their care plan
- Prepare meals, cook, handle housekeeping duties, and run errands as needed
- Ensure clients’ safety, comfort, and provide companionship
- Enhance clients’ quality of life through compassionate care
- Document and report on client progress and needs
- Complete all required training
- Treat all clients with dignity and respect
- Perform duties with professionalism, compassion, and respect
Skills Required:
-Must have drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to provide empathy, compassion, and understanding to clients
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including proper body mechanics
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated to delivering excellent care
- Access to a working cell phone and ability to use scheduling apps
