Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time home health contract in New Albany, IN, and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver personalized care directly to patients in their homes, partnering with a reputable, nationwide home health organization that prioritizes quality care and patient-centered service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Indiana.
  • Must be proficient in Oasis and Homecare Homebase.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience, including proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase.
  • Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health conditions utilizing Oasis and Homecare Homebase software, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide skilled nursing interventions, including wound care, medication management, and IV therapy, while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patient progress closely, evaluating response to treatment and adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and promote well-being.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication administration, and symptom recognition, empowering them to actively participate in their care and promote self-management.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions, adhering to agency policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions with patients and their families, cultivating a supportive and therapeutic environment.
