Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) – 1:1 Home Care Location: Battle Creek, MI Setting: In-home, one-on-one care Job Summary Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing in patients’ homes. You’ll deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting. Client-Specific Case Details This opportunity supports an adult client with a history of a motor vehicle accident (2020) resulting in a C1 ASIA-C spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. The client has undergone C1–C2 stabilization and requires specialized, hands-on care. Care needs include: Neurogenic bladder management, including intermittent straight catheterization Monitoring for and managing frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs) Mobility assistance — client is able to ambulate short distances (up to 40 steps) with a walker Support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ongoing safety supervision Schedule Needs Day shifts available: 12 hours per shift, 7 days per week of consistent attendant care.
