Job Details Job Location: Fort Dodge, IA 50501 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range: $26.00 - $35.00 Hourly Job Shift: Evening Join Iowa Home Care as a Home Health Nurse, where you’ll provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to a veteran in need of assistance in their home. In this role, you’ll follow physician-directed care plans, administer treatments, and work closely with a dedicated care team to support the health, safety, and well-being of each child in a familiar environment. You will spend time with a young individual in thier home who has Quadriplegia. You will be providing "respite" support for his natural caregivers. You will be performing bowel and catheter care, medication management, vitals, mental health education, and routine assessments. You can truly make difference for this family. This is a Full-time position in the Fort Dodge area. Conduct home visits and shifts, assessing client conditions, recording vitals, and noting any changes. Administer nursing procedures, manage medications, and provide treatments following physician orders and scope of practice. Promote a safe environment by educating families on home safety, infection control, and fall prevention. Maintain clear communication with the RN Case Manager and other team members to coordinate and enhance care quality. Document all care delivery accurately and in a timely manner. Qualifications RN or LPN licensed in Iowa. 1-2 years of pediatric experience in acute hospital or home health care preferred. Knowledge of nursing standards as set by the Iowa Board of Nursing. Strong communication skills and commitment to confidentiality. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
