Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented OASIS Auditor/Coder to ensure our clinical documentation meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for meticulous auditing, accurate coding, and timely submission of documents to CMS. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Auditing & Compliance: Conduct comprehensive audits of all OASIS documents to ensure they are complete and fully compliant with CMS and state guidelines. Data Analysis & Quality Improvement: Aggregate and analyze data to identify trends and potential issues. You will collaborate with management to implement solutions and improve overall patient care. Coding & Submissions: Accurately code all assessment information and ensure that home health PCR (Pre-claim review) requirements are met. You will be responsible for the timely submission of all necessary documents to CMS. Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to agency operations. General Support: Assist the Administrator and Board of Directors with other duties as assigned. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong understanding of home health regulations, a commitment to accuracy, and a passion for maintaining high-quality patient care standards through meticulous auditing and data analysis. Qualifications Qualifications Experience: Previous experience with OASIS auditing and coding is required. Certifications: A coding certification is preferred. Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology within a home health context. Up to date with latest coding requirements.
