EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Undergrad degree Experience 1 year One to two (1-2) years of experience in occupational therapy and Licenses and Certifications (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire and (DRIVERS) DRIVERS LICENSE Valid Texas Driver's License, proof of driver's insurance Upon Hire and Current licensure as Occupational Therapist Upon Hire Preferred Experience Occupational Therapy services to homebound patients JOB DUTIES Designs occupational therapy programs and sets goals for each patient. Administers occupational therapy care programs or portions of programs. Provides instructions in therapeutic procedures to be continued by patient and family. Evaluates, records, and reports on patient's progress for review by members of care team. Maintains patient records and charts to ensure accurate record of treatment. Identifies patient's occupational therapy needs to achieve long and short-term goals to meet needs. Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement Program. Performs other duties as assigned.
