Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy visits across Alameda County. This is a W-2 per diem role ideal for PTAs looking for schedule flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships. You’ll treat patients in their homes, collaborate closely with a supervising Physical Therapist, and be supported by a local clinical team. What You’ll Do Provide in-home physical therapy treatments under PT supervision Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement Complete visit documentation in a timely manner Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT Graduate of an accredited PTA program Active California PTA license CPR/BLS certification Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally around Alameda County Home health experience Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required) $70-85/visit + $30/hour for training Mileage reimbursement Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule – choose your availability Supportive clinical team Obran Cooperative Membership $300 signing bonus for per diem PTA, paid as: $100 after completion of your first patient visit $200 after 60 days of active employment, contingent on meeting role expectations and performance standards About Obran Cooperative Apollo is part of Obran Cooperative, a worker-owned healthcare organization building a better alternative to traditional healthcare employment. Responsibilities
The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide in-home physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
