We are currently seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented Scheduling Intake Coordinator to join our Walnut Creek team. Forward-thinking, transparent, inclusive culture Competitive compensation Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match Paid Time Off (up to 10 days) Stability and growth within a well-established agency Work alongside a collaborative team of clinicians and administrative staff Key Responsibilities Maintain and coordinate schedules for home health services Assist with intake and process incoming referral information Ensure cases are assigned and staffed within established timeframes Communicate schedule updates to clinicians, patients, supervisors, and referral sources Manage high call volumes with professionalism and a pleasant demeanor Respond to urgent or emergency scheduling needs Provide direction to field staff as needed to ensure appropriate patient coverage Report scheduling changes and client concerns to supervisors Verify time records against schedules Follow up on scheduling issues reported by on-call staff Attend required meetings and training Maintain compliance with agency policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned What Makes You Successful Previous scheduling or intake experience (home health strongly preferred) Detail oriented with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Friendly, professional phone presence and comfortable handling high call volume Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong computer proficiency Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays as required to support patient care and operational coverage Work Environment On-site at our Walnut Creek location Full-time position Not remote Schedule may include weekends and holidays based on business needs
