Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) San Antonio, TX | Full-Time or Part-Time | Day Schedule (Flexible Hours) Hourly Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 (Based on Experience) Mileage Reimbursement & Flexible Scheduling Available Overview We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join a growing specialty care team serving patients throughout the San Antonio area. This role offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing one-on-one, high-quality infusion care in a home or alternate-site setting. Responsibilities Provide safe, accurate infusion therapy in patients’ homes or alternate-site settings. Assess, plan, and document patient care according to nursing standards and physician orders. Initiate, monitor, and manage IV lines, ports, and pumps during infusion visits. Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration and line maintenance. Collaborate with pharmacy, case management, and physician teams to ensure continuity of care. Monitor for adverse reactions and respond promptly to patient needs or complications. Maintain detailed, timely clinical documentation using EMR systems. Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours visits as needed. Qualifications Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (Compact License accepted) Minimum 1 year of recent IV infusion or acute care experience Proficiency in venipuncture, PICC lines, and central line management / Port Mgmt Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance Preferred: 2+ years of recent home health or home infusion experience CRNI® certification or equivalent infusion specialty credential Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate: $40–$45/hour based on experience Mileage reimbursement for patient travel Flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time options Career advancement opportunities within a growing specialty practice Ideal Candidate This role is perfect for an infusion nurse who enjoys working independently, values patient education, and delivers clinical excellence in every visit.
