JOB DESCRIPTION

No Registration Required! You will be working under the Registered Manager to help lead a high quality, safe and nurturing home for Children.

We are a passionate, family run service with over 25 years collective experience working with Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults services across the Gloucestershire Area. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 3/4 NVQ in Health and Social Care - Children

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant experience of leadership in Health and Social Care, children and young people.
  • Minimum of one years’ experience as a senior or deputy manager of a Children’s service up to 17 years old
  • Relevant experience of supporting successful Ofsted registered children’s homes with good or outstanding ratings
  • Care standards understanding and knowledge, including child protection.
  • Understanding of children’s needs from traumatic backgrounds
  • Professionalism in approach, Understanding and deliverance. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Committed to delivering a high level of care and support for our children and young people.

  • Understand best practices and lead in implementing evidence based research
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution focused approach
  • Able to meet deadlines effectively and to prioritise to meet targets

  • See children as individuals and meet their presenting needs in an imaginative and nurturing way being willing to challenge other services so they best meet each child’s needs
  • Ensuring a positive transition into and out of the home for children and fostering stability for each child
  • Can positively work individually or as part of a team
  • Commitment to professional and personal development
  • Taking part in all meetings relevant to children’s care planning
  • Undertaking hours to suit the home
  • Excellent planning and time management.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
