JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors or individuals with disabilities, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they support. This role involves working closely with clients in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and hospice care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dementia care and patient care techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment for clients.
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
  • Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
  • Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs as required.
  • Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
