Home Support Workers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. The successful candidate(s) will provide compassionate care and support to clients that may reside in their own home, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. The ideal candidate will assist to improving the well-being of those they serve, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

SKILLS

  • Meal preparation and understanding dietary needs.
  • Experience in patient care, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Knowledge of case management practices to support client needs.
  • Familiarity with home care protocols and best practices.
  • Experience in dementia care or working with individuals in assisted living or nursing home settings.
  • Ability to administer medication safely and accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in client environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
