JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. This role involves working closely with clients who may have varying levels of physical and mental health challenges, including those with dementia or disabilities. The Support Worker will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support.

SKILLS

• Experience in medication administration and patient care is essential.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working in nursing homes or home care settings is preferred.
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and understanding of client needs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a clean living environment for clients.

• Assist clients with mobility and light lifting when necessary, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the client’s living space to promote a healthy environment.
• Document client progress and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
