QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Minimum Requirement: Home Based CDA
OR
Associate’s Degree (Home Visitor I) - Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Development with 12 or more credits in Family Services. Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Home Visitor II) - Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Development with 12 or more credits in Family Services.
Experience
A minimum of one year of related experience in education or child development with infants and toddlers is preferred

JOB SUMMARY

The Home Visitor supports the growth and development of children by fostering their social, emotional, intellectual, language, and physical skills through sound infant mental health practices. This position builds strong partnerships with families, helping them understand and support their child’s development. The Home Visitor will:

• Conduct weekly home visits with up to 12 families
• Develop individualized plans for each child
• Maintain accurate records, observations, and lesson plans
• Collaborate with staff and community partners to provide referrals and additional services
• Assist families in identifying strengths, needs, and goals through Family Partnership Plans

• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with program curriculum
• Maintain updated child records, observations, and anecdotal notes
• Support children’s growth through individualized learning plans
• Provide families with direct and indirect referral services
• Build strong family partnerships and assist with Family Partnership Plans
• Maintain an organized home visiting program and accurate documentation
