We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Assistant (Drivers and Walkers) to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes around Preston and Lancaster areas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires effective communication skills and a commitment to following care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them diligently is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and their families.
  • A valid driving licence is necessary for transporting clients when required.
  • Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and communicating with the team.
  • Experience in a care home setting is a plus but not mandatory.
