Promptcare is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team in the Homecare Infusion industry. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering medical supplies and equipment to patients in a timely and efficient manner. Pick-up of equipment in accordance with all State and Federal regulations and accrediting body standards; always maintain a professional and caring attitude. Reports to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri with on-call responsibilities required on weekends.
Location: Stoughton, MA

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Clean driving record of minimum three (3) years required
  • Knowledge of healthcare and/or home medical equipment preferred
  • Basic computer/tablet skills and phone etiquette is highly desirable
  • Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed on a rotating on-call (off hours) basis

Responsibilities
  • Calling all patients to notify them of the expected delivery time
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with all required equipment, medications, and supplies into truck in a timely manner before leaving the office
  • Correctly and effectively delivers HME, medications, and supplies
  • Picks up HME, and hazardous waste according to Policies and Procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the building and on the truck
  • Completes all paperwork as directed, i.e. CODs, insurance information, signatures, etc.
  • Organizes work process in an efficient manner
  • Completes and returns appropriate documentation according to Policies and Procedures in a timely manner
  • Vehicle maintained in compliance with all DOT and FDA regulations
  • Be prepared to load vehicle and begin daily deliveries in a timely manner
  • Keep all patient care, financial information employee activities confidential, in accordance with company procedure and HIPAA Regulations
  • Able to work longer than normal hours with little or no notice, as needed
  • Interact with fellow drivers in a professional manner
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned; cleaning equipment, inventory stock, etc.
