Description YWCA Dayton, dedicated to the empowerment of women and the elimination of racism, seeks an energetic, dedicated person to be an integral part of our team. The HCRP Case Manager reports to the Housing Manager and is responsible for providing rapid rehousing with supportive services to homeless women and families. This person supports the vision, mission and values of YWCA Dayton. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess, orient & facilitate the entry of clients into the HCRP program. Partner with St Vincent De Paul with mutual clients, working out of their provided space. Provide housing-focused case management, support and advocacy for program participants including fair housing and tenant education, financial fitness, job readiness, and housing location. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all current and available community resources fostering strong relationships with YWCA partners and landlords to allow ease of access to resources, supports, and housing for program participants. Adhere to administrative and recordkeeping guidelines to support contract and financial requirements and agency policies and procedures. Attend agency and department meetings as well as interagency and networking meetings as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Familiar with trauma informed care, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution techniques. Active driver’s license and clean driving record. Understanding of racial equity and social justice issues and a demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of those we serve. Responsive to the needs and requests of clients, residents, staff and Board of Directors with a willingness to collaborate and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in housing and homeless services. Ability to navigate through computer programs.
