Assess structural integrity and risk, including lifting floors, tracing M&E services, identifying deterioration, and escalating to Structural Engineer when needed. Produce clear, accurate technical outputs—sketches, floor plans, aperture measurements, structural notes, and survey reports that empower our build teams to deliver safely and efficiently. Champion compliance and safety, completing RAMS, CDM documentation, Building Regulations requirements, ISO processes, and Health & Safety checks. Drive right‑first‑time delivery by developing Bill of Materials (BOMs), defining work methods, ordering specialist materials, and collaborating with Building Control, Engineers, and Build Teams. What You’ll Need to Succeed Proven experience in building, structural, or construction surveying — whether from Asbestos, Quantitative, New Build, or Refurbishment environments. Carpentry or structural trades background (highly desirable) with the confidence to assess real‑world build conditions. Solid understanding of CDM and Building Control, used daily on structural surveys within domestic properties. IT confident and able to create precise, reliable technical documentation. A problem‑solver’s mindset, able to assess complex structural challenges with precision and attention to detail. Full UK driving licence required as company vehicle provided.
