This role focuses on light housekeeping, meal preparation, and providing companionship to clients in their residences. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, is dependable, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Key Skills & Responsibilities Light housekeeping including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, and bathroom cleaning Meal preparation and snack preparation according to client and family instructions Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment Provide companionship through conversation, walks, hobbies, and social activities Assist with errands such as grocery shopping when prearranged Accurate written documentation of services provided during shifts Ability to follow agency policies, procedures, and supervisor instructions Strong communication skills and ability to report concerns to supervisors Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Successful completion of a written competency evaluation Compassionate and patient attitude when working with clients Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle or reliable transportation Work Environment Work is performed in clients’ homes Travel between client locations may be required Flexible shifts available based on client needs (days, evenings, weekends) Ideal Candidate Traits Dependable and trustworthy Friendly and supportive personality Strong attention to detail Enjoys working independently while supporting others Excellent time management skills If you enjoy helping others and making a difference in someone’s daily life, we encourage you to apply.
