We are looking for an Owner Care Technician to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our homeowners feel supported and cared for after move-in.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Owner Care Technician coordinates and completes customer warranty requests post-construction. This role involves evaluating service requests, scheduling trades, performing minor repairs, and ensuring timely resolutions while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. While this position is primarily weekday hours, evenings and weekends may be required to accommodate emergency requests, though these occasions are rare.

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma preferred.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management.
  • Solid understanding of residential construction (plumbing, electrical, finishing carpentry, and building envelope systems).
  • Skilled in drywall repair and painting.
  • Professional, solutions-focused attitude with the ability to represent the company positively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver practical outcomes.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Class 3 Driver’s License considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to homeowner warranty requests with empathy and professionalism.
  • Assess service requests to determine whether they are warrantable or homeowner responsibility.
  • Perform minor repairs such as drywall, paint touch-ups, and other finishing work.
  • Expedite emergency repairs as required.
  • Schedule and coordinate service work with clients, trades, and the project team.
  • Monitor quality and completion of trade work for warranty repairs.
  • Support community standards through consistent and reliable service delivery.
  • Participate in homeowner orientations and walkthroughs.
  • Support site teams with general labouring tasks in between service requests.
