  • Good general education to GCSE level (including English and Maths) or equivalent.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of the role and duties of a social landlord.
  • Knowledge of Council services and statutory/voluntary services relevant to housing.
  • Experience of working in frontline customer service.
  • Experience of keeping accurate manual and digital records.
  • Experience of providing administrative support services.
Responsibilities

WHAT’S INVOLVED WITH THIS ROLE:

The Homeownership Administrator will support the Homeownership Income Team to ensure effective collection of income across the Homeownership portfolio, in line with legislation, data protection requirements, and professional standards. The post-holder will respond to customer enquiries across a range of channels, assist with income recovery processes, and provide professional administrative support to the Homeownership Manager (Income) and wider team.
This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service, improving the customer experience, and ensuring that income targets are met or exceeded.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Homeownership Managers (Income) and Officers in maximising income, using financial and housing management software.
  • Produce reports for the Homeownership Manager (Income) as required.
  • Manage garage and non-residential rent accounts, ensuring accurate charges, account opening/closure, and record maintenance.
  • Support debt recovery processes and assist in developing arrears and enforcement procedures.
  • Prepare reports, statistical analyses, and financial documents as required.
  • Process refunds, transfers, write-offs, and other account adjustments in line with policies and deadlines.
